Position Summary
The Supervisor of Therapeutic Services will support the development and ongoing reinforcement of delivery, impact and evaluation of the Therapeutic Services program. They will be responsible for providing a positive work environment reflective of the Agency’s mission and values. The Supervisor will focus on staff development, support, supervision, and training of staff to ensure clear expectations, quality of service and achievement of personal, team and Agency goals while supporting contract deliverables. This position requires some travel as appropriate to connect with staff at different locations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Modeling the Agency’s core values of safety, trustworthiness, choice, collaboration and empowerment in every interaction with co-workers, clients, service providers and the community at large.
· Providing training, supervision, support and consultation to program staff and interns to ensure clear expectations, quality of service, and achievement of goals which are reflective of the Agency’s mission and values.
· Facilitating team meetings and case reviews per needs of program and staff.
· Reviewing all clinical documentation and reports completed by staff and engages staff in chart audits to confirm accurate documentation.
· Working collaboratively with Director of Therapeutic Services to determine effectiveness of contract implementation.
· Working with Director of Therapeutic Services to overcome barriers, emergent situations or ongoing issues impacting the ability to deliver quality and timely services to our clients.
· Managing program team to ensure contract deliverables are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
· Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly statistical and narrative reports in a timely manner as required by funding sources.
· Assisting in recruitment, interviewing and hiring of program staff, interns and volunteers.
· Collaborating, networking and maintaining communication with outside agencies to increase awareness of FCSFL programs offered in all counties.
· Participating in workgroups designed to update program-based procedures and related policies.
· Providing comprehensive treatment services to meet the needs of the clients within the respective program utilizing community, group, individual, conjoint and family therapy as needed and required.
· Maintaining and completing clinical documentation for all active clients in a timely manner, providing to Program Director for approval.
Developing and/or providing internal and external training, presentation and facilitation as needed and requested.
· Performing other work-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling or related field.
- Licensed in New York State (LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LCAT, etc.)
- Minimum of three years in clinical and management experience, preferably with under-served populations.
- · Three years or more of relevant experience, preferably in a nonprofit organization, demonstrating progressively increasing responsibility and accountability as well as overall functional success.
- · Proven ability to lead teams, experience with coaching, training, and supervising individuals.
- · Proven ability to cope with conflict, stress, and crisis situations through effective problem-solving and mediation skills.
- · Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively and work cooperatively with culturally diverse persons, staff, and multiple service provider agencies.
- · Experience with motivational interviewing and healing-centered work.
- · Ability to effectively delegate work assignments, give authority to work independently, set expectations, and monitor delegated activities.
- · Knowledge of local county and regional educational, community and behavioral health systems.
- · Competent in use of computer software such as Electronic Health Record systems, Microsoft Office, and virtual platforms.

Pay: $62,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
