What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Associate position at Family Crisis Center?
Primary Duties: To assist thrift store coordinator and assistant manager in day to day operations of thrift store facility. To assist with incoming clothing donations.
Qualifications/Experience Expected: High School Diploma or GED. Some knowledge of, and experience in, a retail business is preferred. Must be able to perform moderate to heavy lifting and other physical demands.
Duties and Responsibilities:
A. Sorting, hanging and tagging of clothing donations.
B. Moving clothing from storage area to sales floor.
C. Provide training regarding handling of clothing to volunteers/community service workers.
D. Helping with keeping clothing on sales floor neat and orderly.
E. Helping to keep clothing in storage area neat and orderly.
F. When requested by a supervisor, assisting with receiving area if needed.

Finance, Administrative, and Other Duties
A. Monitor expenditures and mileage reimbursement requests to ensure fiscal accountability.

C. Follow philosophy and mission of the agency as well as all agency policies, procedures and duties outlined in the job description.

G. Perform other duties as assigned according to agency/ thrift store needs.

Ability to multitask, responding to pages, telephones, correspondence and other auditory and visual stimulation. Ability to tolerate prolonged travel and/or periods of sitting or standing.
