Job Description: We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Credit Union Teller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, prioritize member service, and possess the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional member service by accurately processing transactions, answering inquiries, and resolving issues.
Handle cash, checks, and other financial instruments with a high level of accuracy and security.
Assist members with various banking services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account maintenance.
Promote and cross-sell credit union products and services to meet members' financial needs.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union policies, procedures, and compliance regulations.
Balance cash drawers and perform daily reconciliations.
Assist with opening and closing procedures as needed.
Provide support to other team members and participate in branch activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a teller or customer service role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform accurate transactions.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to team goals.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with banking software.
Sales experience is a plus.
