Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Monitor patients' health and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide companionship and support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Perform assist clients with mobility or transfers.
- Maintain cleanliness in the client's living space, ensuring a hygienic environment.
- Support clients in engaging in recreational activities and social interactions.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and CPR certification is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
- Previous experience in a long-term care settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting client dignity and privacy.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and ready to work.
