Essential Duties

Pay Rate: $42,000 - $45,000

Required Experience
Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma/ GEDrequired;Experience in/with substance use, detox programs, medication-assisted treatment, behavioral healthcare and/or community relationsencouraged to apply.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:IAODAPCA Certified Alcohol and Other Drugs Counselor (CADC)required, or able to obtain within allottedtime of hire date.

2nd $1,000: After 6 months of employment
Essential Duties
- Develop patient treatment plans and conducts continued stay review based on research, clinical experience, and patients histories - uses assessment programs on computer.
- Provide patient intakes (biopsychosocial assessment), treatment planning, case coordination, staffing, aftercare planning and discharge with individual and group therapy for a full spectrum of referral sources.
- Provide direct clinical service to a full caseload, achieving a minimum of 20 billable hours weekly.
- Intervene as an advocate for patients or patients to resolve emergency problems in crisis situations.
- Counsel family members to assist them in understanding, dealing with, and supporting patients (written authorization by patient must be obtained refer to Federal Confidentiality Regulations for substance abuse treatment).
- Maintain at least 51% of work time in face-to-face counseling, contacts.
