Salary : $15 / hr
Family Haven is a nonprofit organization with a primary purpose of preventing and treating child abuse. Our mission is to build a community of healthy, happy individuals and families through education and the prevention of child abuse, trauma and other personal and family concerns.
We have several community programs and a busy mental health practice in Orem. A regular day at Family Haven is fast paced and varied and will probably include answering phone, email and in-person questions about therapy availability, checking on the status of client paperwork, scheduling appointments, receiving payments from therapy clients, receiving mail and sorting it, checking children in and out of the nursery and other administrative tasks.
At this time we are looking for someone to provide admin support in the afternoons, Monday through Thursday 1 : 15pm to 6pm and 1 : 15pm to 5pm on Fridays. Due to proximity and access to vulnerable populations, this job requires passing a background check and fingerprinting.
This job is perfect for someone who wants to learn about social work organizations, mental health office administration or get into nonprofit administration. Most of our admin team started in this position!
Requirements-
High School Diploma
Prior office or customer service experience
Preferred Qualifications-
Spanish
