Family Insight, P.C. is a well-established organization with offices throughout Virginia. We are dedicated to promoting the behavioral, mental, emotional, and social well-being of individuals across the Commonwealth.
We are currently seeking Independent Contract BCBA Assessors to provide high-quality, in-person, ABA assessments for clients across Virginia. This is a 1099 contractor position focused solely on conducting assessments—not ongoing treatment or supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations for individuals with developmental disabilities and other behavioral diagnoses.
- Develop and submit assessment reports and initial treatment plans.
- Utilize evidence-based assessment tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and referral sources as needed to gather relevant background information.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with Family Insight’s standards.
Requirements:
- Active BCBA Certification by the BACB.
- Active LBA through the VA Board of Medicine.
- Experience in conducting behavioral assessments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Access to reliable transportation for client assessments.
- Travel within the Commonwealth of Virginia
Contractor Expectations:
- This is a 1099 independent contractor role, meaning you are responsible for managing your own taxes and benefits.
- Contractors must carry their own liability insurance.
- Flexible schedule—work is assigned based on availability and caseload demand.
- Compensation is based on completed assessments and documentation.
