Patient Care Technician
Family Medicine Specialists, an independently owned practice has an exciting opportunity for a CNA or Patient Care Technician that offers a unique work environment. We are seeking a self-motivated, detail oriented, and energetic individual to join our busy family practice clinic. Must be a team player and have excellent organizational and communication skills.
Primary responsibilities
· Provides general medical care by rooming and preparing patient for examination; including obtaining vitals, histories, reason for visit and reviewing medications.
· Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and organization of exam rooms
· Assists with minor procedures
· Performs and documents in office labs including but not limited to: blood glucose, influenza, COVID, lead and strep
Requirements
· A patient-centered individual with a high regard for excellent customer service and patient confidentiality
· Previous experience as CNA or Patient Care Technician taking vitals
· Confidence in obtaining manual blood pressure
· CNA Certification
