Housekeeper / Nanny (Hybrid Role) For Weston, CT Family of 4

Overview
We are a Weston, CT family of 4 (15yo 9 yo) 2 dogs seeking an energetic and dedicated Housekeeper/Nanny to flex between childcare, housekeeping and cooking for the family.

This role requires the need to work independently, help other caregivers with kids as needed and maintain the household. Candidate must be experienced working in an active home with many moving parts and be able to handle all common household cleaning needs along with overall household organization.

Solid experience preferred and seeking someone established who is professional, proactive, trustworthy, and is passionate about making people happy.

Experience with autism/special needs preferred.

Duties

• Light Childcare: Be there in the morning to get children to school and support in the afternoons. Oversee 9yo daughter in the afternoons to ensure she is engaged in something fun and creative, and be a warm and caring presence to family’s 15 year old son and train with son’s caregiver.
• Food Prep: Prepare simple breakfast for children, lunches for children to go to school with, and simple dinner for the entire family.
• Home Care / Cleaning: Make beds daily, change sheets as needed, take out trash and recycling, family laundry including placing clothes in closets, dishes, and general tidying. Keep cars clean and tidy. Operate a rotating schedule of organizing/special projects. With the support of a 1x/week deep clean service.
• Pet Care: Help with daily care and management of two friendly dogs, including fetching, feeding, and basic upkeep. (Dogs don’t need to be walked)
• Errands: At the direction of Principals and House Manager, run occasional errands in conjunction with daily routine.
• Occasional Travel: Depending on the trip, travel with family on vacation.

Schedule & Hours

• Off Days: Friday & Saturday
• Estimated Hours: ~40 per week, with flexibility expected
• Monday - Thursday: 6:30-8:30 AM, 1:30-7:30PM
• Sunday: 7:00 AM-12:00 PM, 5:00-8:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 50 per week
