We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for educating patients and families on treatment options, costs, and setting up payment plans.
- Manage patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of insurance billing documentation.
- Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and insurance companies to facilitate treatment approvals.
- Maintain organized medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions.
- Communicate with patients and their families to keep track of payment schedules, appointments, and post-treatment follow-up care.
- Provide front desk support including answering phones, greeting patients, and managing inquiries.
- Educate patients on treatment options and procedures while addressing any concerns they may have.
- Discuss treatment options, and answer all payment questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to streamline patient care processes and improve overall service delivery.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations, medical billing practices, and coding is essential.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and administrative procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff in a professional manner.
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other office software.
- A background in administration or related fields is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
