Responsibilities:
v Assist patients over the phone
v Follow all HIPAA and Family Practice Center standards when conducting calls
v Schedule appointments with the providers according to practice and provider standards
v Enter patient demographics, insurance information, and appointment specific details into our EMR system
v Accurately document patient encounters
v v Route phone calls and messages to the appropriate department
v Effectively communicate all FPC’s appointment and billing policies
v Vet and field patient concerns/complaints or feedback to the Front office manager or Practice Administrator
v Most importantly maintain a professional and positive attitude with coworkers and patient
Qualifications:
v Strong verbal and written communication skills
v Proficient computer skills
v High School Diploma or GED Required
v Excellent organization skills and ability to multi-task
v Knowledge of EMR and/or EPIC system preferred
