Family Programs Hawai‘i is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our finance team on a part-time basis. This role will focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) while providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Verify invoices, coordinate payment schedules, and communicate with vendors as needed.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) to prepare financial documents, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Assist with data entry and maintain organized financial and administrative records.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of financial transactions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Previous experience in administrative or accounting support preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently within a part-time schedule.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
