Principal Duties & Responsibilities
1. Works cooperatively with Executive Director and Board Finance Chair relative to all fiscal and operational issues.
2. Generates revenue through timely submission of well-researched, well written and well-documented federal and state grant proposals.
3. Complete new hire paperwork.
4. Maintain record of contracts and insurance policies.
5. Oversee employee enrollment and funding to benefit plans.
6. Works cooperatively with Executive Director preparing for the annual audit.
7. Oversee filing of all financial documents and receipts.
8. Compile and submit federal and state grant reports in a timely manner.
9. Assist with fundraising efforts.
10. Works cooperatively with Executive Director to process payroll.
11. Maintains all required paperwork and binders for annual licenses and certificates.
12. Keeps informed and knowledgeable about FRC’s programs, attend training opportunities, meetings, and professional organizations, etc.
13. Serves as an effective representative for FRC and its programs.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- College degree in accounting or advanced courses in Office Management, Organization and/or Accounting is desirable. High School Diploma or GED required.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations for non-profits.
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, and QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and human relation skills, group dynamics, knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to manage time, work independently and handle several projects at once.
- Proven excellent communication skills (oral and written), organizational skills, record keeping skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Discretion and confidentiality required.
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance required.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: $16.35 - $18.27 per hour
