About The Department
The department provides a wide range of learning and development support and services.
The department provides policy leadership, plans for the future of education in Victoria and leads key cross-sector collaboration. The department plays an important system steward role by providing support, guidance, oversight and assurance across early childhood and school education systems, as well as directly providing school education and 50 new early learning centres.
About The Division
Victorian Child Information Sharing Division sits within Early Childhood Education group. The division leads Victoria's Child Information Sharing reforms, including the Child Information Sharing Scheme and Child Link, to promote child wellbeing and safety. The division contributes to implementation and change management activities for the early childhood system reforms, including measuring attendance of children at Kindergarten to support the roll-out of the Best Start, Best Life Reforms.
About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven project officer to support key activities for the rollout of the Department's new kindergarten enrolment and attendance system, Arrival.
This opportunity is fixed term until 31 December 2025.
The successful candidate will provide broad project and adminstrative support across a range of activities, including:
Successful applicants are required to apply for a Working with Children Check (Employee) prior to commencement with the Victorian Child Information Sharing Division and are required to meet the cost of this check.

The successful candidate will provide broad project and adminstrative support across a range of activities, including:
- the delivery and monitoring of an implementation plan
- the delivery of a multi-staged Communication Action Plan
- suporting internal stakeholder working groups
- supporting targeted engagement and communications with early childhood peak bodies and providers and responding to stakeholder queries as required
- supporting sector readiness activities
- development of guidance, training and support collateral for service providers and users
- development of and maintaining a project schedule and risk register
- supporting governance groups and associated reporting
- supporting the Manager with any other tasks as required.

Desirable Qualifications And Experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field and experience in the Early Childhood sector
