Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Hours may vary between 7:00am – 7:00pm
Position Summary
The position consists of managing a team of CPST Case Managers. The CBS Manager will assist staff in developing and maintaining caseloads and productivity, along with training staff on how to build/teach skills to clients, while also providing consistent engagement with parents during treatment. This position will also maintain a reduced caseload to allow ongoing clinical experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provides mentorship and supervision to Case Management staff.
- Oversees the day-to-day provision of case management services to clients and ensure all services are in conformity with Licensing Standards, Agency quality improvement, corporate compliance.
- Ensure documentation guidelines and services are performed consistent with establish clinical standards.
- Hires new staff as needed, conducts performance appraisals on current staff and promotes all of the Agency’s employee performance guidelines.
- Coordinates additional training for staff as needed
- Coordinates and monitors the admission, continued care, and discharge of clients within case management services.
- Assists the Chief Community Based Officer in monitoring qualitative and quantitative data and makes recommendations to promote efficiencies and effectiveness of services provided to children, youth and their families.
- Develops and monitors the budget regarding case management, in conjunction with other CBS Mangers and the Chief Community Based Officer.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provides diagnostic guidance and consultation to CBS staff
- Maintains limited case load
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Licensure:
- QMHP licensure required (LMSW, LSCSW, LMLP, LCP, Ph.D., PsyD. or APRN).
- Experience providing services to children, youth/adolescents and families is preferred.
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Must successfully pass the KBI, DCF and all Central Registry background investigations.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, current auto insurance and reliable transportation.
Experience:
- Extensive knowledge of community based services for children and youth especially related to the provision of case management.
- Ability to quickly establish rapport with others and to perform services in an ethical manner.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary setting to promote cross team services on behalf of clients.

The Community Based Services (CBS) Manager is responsible for supervising and managing a team comprising Case Management and others as assigned.

Position requires long periods of sitting, continual use of the keyboard and personal computer and/or speaking on the telephone. Position may require the provision of services in an office, client home, and school, virtual or other community setting.
