Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Family Support Specialist. As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of young children and their families.
Your responsibilities will include visiting with families in their homes on a twice weekly basis, demonstrating reading, play, and verbal interaction behaviors with two-year-old and three-year-old children and their primary caregiver. You will also be responsible for completing required paperwork on a weekly basis and attending and participating in weekly supervisory meetings, staff meetings, individual supervision, and training.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to work independently and maintain confidentiality while handling cases in the Bellport and/or Wyandanch communities.
