"> We are seeking a full-time Bilingual Supervisor for our Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip. The successful candidate will assist the Program Director in providing clinical and administrative oversight. Key responsibilities include providing individual and group supervision, monitoring documentation, and providing direct service. This position requires an understanding of program outcomes, performance indicators, and program evaluation tools.">Responsibilities
">- The Bilingual Supervisor will provide culturally competent and sensitive services to a small caseload.
- Provide individual and group therapy to a small caseload of adults, children, and adolescents with the full range of DSM diagnoses in a clinic setting, including co-occurring disorders.
- The Bilingual Supervisor will work closely with all direct and support staff, including psychiatric staff, to ensure the appropriate treatment interventions for the client and their family.
- Complete all clinical documentation in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health in an electronic medical record.
- The Bilingual Supervisor will provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff, interns, and limited permit holders.
- Provide guidance and direction to all staff and interfaces with other community organizations.
- Ensure access to services, improve health outcomes, reduce preventable hospitalizations and emergency room visits for our clients.
- Audit charts according to NYS OMH and COA regulations.
- Manage crisis situations as needed, including on-call.
- Attend routine supervision/team meeting.
