Our Mental Health Clinic in Central Islip is dedicated to providing expert care to individuals, children, and families affected by mental illness.
We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual Social Worker to join our team and deliver critical services such as evaluations, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, be licensed as an LMSW, LCSW, or hold a Limited Permit, and have at least one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in a clinic environment.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective treatment plans, collaborating with colleagues and community partners, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individual and family therapy to children ages 5 and up, adolescents, and adults
- Delivering services in a trauma-informed, culturally competent manner
- Completing all clinical documentation in accordance with OMH standards
- Participating in routine supervision and team meetings
- Collaborating with family and other collateral contacts
