Non-Medical In-home Health/ Direct Care Worker/ Alzheimer's Caregiver Respite
Part-time up to 28 hours per week (Full time could be a possibility for the right candidate)
$14.50 ($15.00 after 60 days) up to $17.00 (this includes end of year bonus)
Provide assistance to people who are at least 60 years of age and live in Ohio County and Marshall County, WV.
Assist recipients with daily activities such as light housekeeping, errands, meal prep, laundry, Alzheimer's caregiver respite, and personal care.
Once hired, Family Service will provide training and ensure all certifications necessary are obtained.
All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
All applicants must pass a WV Cares background check before they may be considered for employment.
Must have reliable transportation or able to use public transportation. Transportation can be provided by Family Service-Upper Ohio Valley in limited areas.

Qualifications (on the job training will be provided)
- Patient care experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in senior care or caregiving
- Familiarity with non-medical in-home care practices
- Previous work in nursing homes or assisted living facilities - Your skills will transfer nicely!!
- Experience working with individuals with limitations
- Knowledge of Alzheimer's and memory care
- Proficiency in cleaning and meal preparation
- Experience with plan of care documentation (preferred but we will train)
- Ability to cook and assist with meal preparation
- Caring and able to work with the senior population and Veteran Population!
