What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Care Worker position at St. John's Home for Children?
St. John's Home for Children is looking to expand our team.
We are looking to hire PRN Youth Care Workers to cover shifts when needed. This may include afternoon and midnight shifts, including holidays and weekends. Candidates available to work when school is closed a plus. PRN staff can work as little as one shift per month or more as desired and needed. You will be responsible for the care and supervision of boys ages 6-12 living in our residential facility. Your duties will include overseeing and participating in daily activities, community activities, personal hygiene, behavior management, homework/educational assistance, crisis services, and daily routines. Midnight shift is responsible for ensuring resident safety and cleaning. Summertime is a great time to work at St. John's Home with outings and events; perfect for teachers and college students. Fully paid training provided.
Requirements: High school diploma (or equivalent), Bachelor's Degree preferred. Driver's License, Background Check, No CPS history, and be at least 18 years of age.
