Job Summary: As the Family Violence Program Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing our residential programs and ensuring their efficient and effective delivery. Your oversight will be crucial in monitoring the progress and outcomes of each program, and in remedying any deficiencies that may arise. You will also be responsible for supervising and evaluating the performance of staff and for submitting timely program service data reports to the Executive Director and contracting agencies. Your compassion and willingness to work with our clientele seeking shelter and non-shelter services will be key to your success in this role.
It is crucial for the Family Violence Program Director to stay current with local, state, and federal government regulations and compliance documents regarding program services. This knowledge will be instrumental in understanding and utilizing networks with government entities at regional and state levels to promote women's issues, work to reduce domestic violence, and keep the organization informed about available services and funding.
As the Family Violence Program Director, you will work closely with the Executive Director and Finance Department to develop the annual program budget. Your role will also involve monitoring the program budget and balancing revenue and expenses, demonstrating your financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
As the Family Violence Program Director, you will work with the Executive Director and other staff to ensure the timely submission of proposals for available funds. Your role in this process is crucial for securing the necessary resources for the program's operations.
Participate in TCFV and other local and state organizations as time permits. Participate in public relations activities related to shelter services as requested by the Executive Director.
Schedule in-service training as appropriate and as requested. Present programs on domestic violence in the community. Provide outreach to help identify victims in need of services.
Provide quality services within contract requirements, agency policies and procedures, and accreditation standards.
Responsible for ensuring teamwork and collaboration with other agency programs and other agencies to ensure coordinated service delivery.
Monitor high-risk cases in the family violence program. The executive Director regularly supervises.
Experience: A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, criminal justice, or another field is preferred. Candidates must have at least three years of experience in a leadership role or domestic violence program. Grant management experience is preferred.
