JOB DETAILS:
Family Services of Westchester is currently seeking a Mental Health Clinician for Hope's Door Domestic Violence Agency in Hawthorne, NY.
POSITION TITLE: Mental Health Clinician
STATUS: Part-time/2 days per week
SALARY: Starting $33.33/hour, increase depending on YOE
SUPERVISED BY: Program Director
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Conduct preliminary assessments for clients referred by Domestic Violence Shelter
- Provide short term clinic treatment for adults, adolescents and children who have experienced domestic violence
- Set therapeutic goals
- Keep detailed psychotherapy and progress notes & maintain and submit timely, accurate documentation in agency database
- Document all work in Electronic Health Record
- Manage common areas of building, oversee maintenance of building, coordinate with facilities, IT if issues arise
REQUIREMENTS:
- LMSW (preferred) , LMFT, LMHC in state of New York or limited permit.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience is required
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Bilingual required.
- Computer Skills: Word and Excel. Database required.
- Ability to travel within the service area or to other locations as needed.
