We are a small nonprofit organization providing information and assistance for families with diverse ethnic, language, learning, and economic needs who have children of all ages and with all types of special healthcare needs and disabilities in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, and McDowell Counties. The ideal candidate for this position has previous management experience, has personal and / or professional experience with individuals with disabilities (parents and family members are encouraged to apply), understands and practices respect and sensitivity with culturally diverse populations, has excellent communication skills, and has the ability to multitask and switch priorities, as needed. Bi-lingual in Hmong / English or Spanish / English is a plus.Responsibilities : Work closely with program staff, collaborators, agencies, and consumersManage nonprofit and state / federal funding and operational requirementsImplement programs, budgets, and activities effectivelyParticipate in program, community, state, and national meetings and conferencesEnsure all programs and activities are in line with our mission, goals, and valuesSupervise staff and coordinate program operationsQualifications : Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational skillsFamiliarity with basic computer programs, such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, bookkeeping, and project managementThe ability to work well independently and within a teamFlexible work from home options available.#J-18808-Ljbffr
