Job Summary:The Program Director is responsible for the overall management, development, and implementation of the organization's: Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and Department of Social Services (DSS) program services. This role involves overseeing program operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and fostering a supportive environment for both clients and staff.
DDS Services:
- Shared Living, Individualized Day, Personal Supports, Companion Supports, Individualized, Home Supports (IHS) and Blended Supports.
DSS Services:
- Adult Foster Living (AFL), Personal Care Attendant (PCA)
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management:
- Design, implement, and evaluate programs and services that meet the needs of individuals that we serve.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed to improve service delivery.
- Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring financial solvency and accountability.
- Staff Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and supervise program staff, providing guidance and support.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development and collaboration.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all programs comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure quality service delivery.
- Implement policies and procedures to improve program effectiveness and safety.
- Community Relations and Advocacy:
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and families.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of individuals with developmental disabilities at local, state, and national levels.
- Represent the department at community meetings and events.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Collect and analyze data to assess program outcomes and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, including funding sources and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DDS programs that is: Shared Living, Individualized Day, Personal Supports, Companion Supports, Individualized, Home Supports (IHS) and Blended Supports.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Management
- Skills:
- Strong organizational, leadership and management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in developmental services.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to the changing needs of the program participants.
- Valid driver’s license, sufficient automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, including occasional lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
