Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records using our electronic medical records system (Open Dental)
Requirements
-Valid BLS or CPR certification preferred
-Radiography Certification preferred
-Hepatitis B Vaccination
- Recent TB Test
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred, but not required
- Current certification in dental assisting preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation
- Experience with pediatric dental assisting is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to take accurate vital signs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
