What are the responsibilities and job description for the East Linn Therapeutic Early Childhood Program (TECP) Sweet Home Site Supervisor position at Family Tree Relief Nursery?
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Family Tree Relief Nursery’s Therapeutic Early Childhood Program promotes learning experiences and healing emotional support for children and their families in pairing trauma informed care and a strength-based approach. Our classroom support staff have multi-layered essential roles within the program. Both as classroom educators and home visitors. Focusing on social and emotional development while establishing professional relationships and building trust, understanding and growth. As the Site Supervisor, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the TECP program. You will supervise direct staff and oversee the completion of monthly tasks, roles, and responsibilities. As the Site Supervisor, you will ensure the program upholds OARN and Certification requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
20% Engage with referred families.
- Assist families with setting individual and family goals using the Family Service Plan and monitor their strengths and concerns through monthly conducted home visits.
- Complete all documentation requirements such as ASQ. ASQ-SE, Family Stressors, etc.at the required time intervals specified.
- Promote positive parenting skills and parent/child interactions.
- Provide basic needs such as food, diapers and wipes, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, community resources, referrals and more when needed and available.
- Screen and assess children’s development at appropriate intervals, providing information on child development and appropriate activities to parents.
- Track and monitor each family’s progress with weekly client logs and home visiting reports within 48 hours of each individual contact.
40% Coordinate Therapeutic Classroom
- Classroom focus is child led, with safety and routine expectations considered.
- Drive and/or ride agency vehicles as needed.
- Ensure program upholds levels required for certification.
- Incorporate individual goals into home-visit curriculum.
- Oversee and manage therapeutic program for children developing an appropriate lesson plan for the program to develop social and emotional child development.
30% Oversee Assigned TECP Staff
- Be a leader in the organization addressing issues including but not limited to staff dynamics, tasks requiring attention, being available as the site supervisor offering leadership when required.
- Complete reviews / check-ins / disciplinary processes accordingly
- Oversee documentation including, but not limited to, Home Visit reports, Child status summaries, assessments, ASQ/ ASQ:SE. Site Supervisor will provide this information.
- Provide weekly Reflective Supervision and support to classroom staff. Guide each supervisee in service delivery ensuring all HIPPA, OARN, QAS and Relief Nursery principles are followed to ensure best practice and documenting according to Family Tree Relief Nursery requirements.
- Regularly attend and observe Home Visits with staff.
- Represent Family Tree Relief Nursery in a leadership capacity in the wider organization regardless of site, within the community and with contractual partners.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
10% Other Duties
- Present in Court as required.
- Support Front Office Staff with answering phones, greeting visitors as needed.
General Expectations:
- Attend and participate in required supervision, team meetings, All-Staff meetings, and Family Tree Relief trainings as required.
- Attend Community and family events as assigned.
- Complete all data and reports in the timeframes stipulated.
- Comply with all health and safety standards per state regulations.
- Comply with State guidelines regarding mandated reporting of suspected abuse and/or neglect.
- Document hours and mileage in accordance with Family Tree Relief Nursery policies
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.
- Maintain an acceptable driving record, driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance while employed by Family Tree Relief Nursery
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, CF42, and Family Tree Relief Nursery’s policy and procedures.

- Obtain required continuing education as needed ensuring continued required certification requirements for Family Tree Relief
- Participate in Family Tree Relief Nursery fundraising activities as assigned.
- Participate in the delivery of Parent Education in accordance with Family Tree Relief Nursery Programming
- Serve as a member on one Family Tree Relief Nursery Committee, carrying out duties of this committee as agreed during regular meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- All work performed shall be in alignment with the philosophy and in keeping with the mission and values of Family Tree Relief
- Bachelor’s degree in human services, family studies, early childhood education, child development or related field.
- Basic knowledge of child maltreatment indicators and prevention of abuse; must attend or have record or recent training of development and/or education.

- Experience considered in lieu of education.
- Have or obtain and maintain Oregon Food Handler’s Card & Adult and Pediatric CPR & First Aid certification.

- Must have reliable transportation and maintain a valid driver’s license for state of residency and personal auto liability coverage.
- OHA Traditional Health Worker Registry
- Pass Family Tree Relief Nursery criminal background check per Family Tree Relief Nursery’s policies and/or be currently enrolled in the Central Background Registry.
- Two years’ experience in organization with high-risk population, support and recovery services, parent education or early childhood education.
- Whether driving a personal or agency vehicle must comply with the agency’s transportation policies and procedures.
PHYSICAL DEMAND
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, push, pull, reach, manipulate, carry and key/type. Requires occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
