Job Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is looking to add you to the team – an experienced, talented new colleague to fill the position of Manager, Legal – Athlete Partnerships. You will be working with Topps’ domestic and international teams working closely with senior leadership. While the emphasis on this role will be in Fanatics Collectibles international soccer business, this role will be cross-functional and support all business groups across all areas. As Manager, Legal – Athlete Partnerships, you will lead and play a critical role in directing legal and business processes surrounding the administration of existing and new athlete contracts across all sports and entertainment properties with an added focus on international soccer in accordance with company legal policies. In this role, successful candidates will ideally have experience in managing all stages of the contracting process including drafting and redlining through execution. This position requires a go-getter, sleeve-roller, strategic thinker and practical executer with strong leadership and teamwork skills and extensive and diverse expertise in contracting.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, redline and manage legal contracts and promotional agreements while working cross-functionally with Brand, Marketing, Finance and Legal teams.
- Determine appropriate template for legal contracts and promotional agreements and lead redline negotiations with third parties.
- Organize and maintain contract management database ensuring agreements are executed and filed properly and records are accurately maintained.
- Advise on questions of contract interpretation for existing agreements.
- Maintain contract management tools and databases for lifecycle of contracts.
- Coordinate contracting process cross-functionally between Brand, Finance and Legal departments to implement fulfillment of contracts and payments.
- Acts as liaison between company and any/all interested parties to contractual agreements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and contractual audits to identify potential risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Provide strategic guidance and partnership with other functional departments and business units, across the Fanatics Collectibles businesses and across the overall Fanatics Group as appropriate.
- Bachelors Degree required. JD preferred.
- 3-5 years’ experience with drafting, negotiation and redlining processes
- Experience organizing and maintaining contract management databases
- Knowledgeable within domestic and international soccer landscape
- Experience within Sports, Entertainment and Collectibles is a plus
- Have a bias towards action and initiative taking.

Salary : $120,000 - $210,000
