About The Role
Fanatics Commerce is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee and optimize Jersey Supply Planning & Execution. As the Senior Director, Jersey Supply Planning & Execution, you will be responsible for ensuring the right capacity is held at the right time, balancing cost, lead times, and flexibility across global supply chains. This role will lead efforts to shorten decision lead times, create a phased inventory approach, and strategically allocate orders based on cost, capacity, and production lead times.

About The Role
Fanatics Commerce is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee and optimize Jersey Supply Planning & Execution. As the Senior Director, Jersey Supply Planning & Execution, you will be responsible for ensuring the right capacity is held at the right time, balancing cost, lead times, and flexibility across global supply chains. This role will lead efforts to shorten decision lead times, create a phased inventory approach, and strategically allocate orders based on cost, capacity, and production lead times.
Key Responsibilities
- Capacity Planning & Supply Lock Strategy
- Develop a structured approach to capacity planning, ensuring the right amount of production capacity is held at the right times.
- Drive key supply lock milestones, including:
- Greige fabric commitments by X date.
- Team jersey production locks by Y date.
- Align planning with demand forecasts to optimize flexibility while ensuring timely execution.
- Provide inputs to greige capacity and consumption to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Shortening Decision Lead Times & Phased Inventory Approach
- Implement a phased inventory strategy to enhance agility while minimizing risk.
- Reduce decision lead times by improving demand visibility, supplier collaboration, and planning processes.
- Leverage data and analytics to streamline approvals and order commitments while maintaining responsiveness to market trends and fan demand.
- Smart Order Allocation & Supply Chain Optimization
- Ensure right orders are placed in the right facilities based on cost, lead time (LT), and production capabilities.
- Balance offshore, nearshore, and domestic production, considering:
- Cost efficiencies and landed cost impacts.
- Lead time requirements and agility needs.
- Capacity constraints across global manufacturing partners.
- Optimize Fanatics’ supply chain network to improve flexibility while reducing overall costs.
- Decide the best route for nearshoring or moving blanks around the U.S. to improve efficiency and fulfillment speed.
- Domestic Embellishment & Inventory Strategy
- Get inventory to one place for improved efficiency and visibility.
- Establish minimum and maximum inventory strategies for domestic embellishment to maintain supply continuity.
- Implement a daily replenishment model to ensure the right quantities are sent to both 1P and 3P facilities for production and fulfillment.
- A supply chain leader with deep experience in apparel production planning, global sourcing, and capacity management.
- Skilled in balancing cost, speed, and flexibility to optimize jersey supply planning and execution.
- Strong decision-maker, able to drive shortened lead times and inventory agility without compromising efficiency.
- Adept at working cross-functionally with Planning, Sourcing, Production, and Merchandising teams.
- Passionate about the sports and eCommerce industry, committed to enhancing the fan experience through operational excellence.
