The Job
The Visual Merchandising Associate is responsible for supporting the vision that the Global Visual Director and Visual Team sets. The Visual Merchandising Associate should have an ever-growing knowledge of store standards set by the Visual Team so that they are able to merchandise products and displays that wow and excite our guests. This role is collaborative, innovative, and requires a commitment to ensuring that the store always maintains a high level of finesse.
This is a part-time, temporary role with the ability to become part of the permanent team after an initial 90-day period.
Reporting to : Visual Merchandising Manager
What You'll Do
GuestProvide a friendly and helpful customer service experience for all guests and direct customers to department specialists or managers as needed.Excite the guest through creative product placement and corresponding vitrines.Partner with the leadership to ensure all store-related signage is clearly displayed for guests. This includes, but is not limited to, pricing, sales and special events.Team
Assist the Visual team in daily tasks as needed such as hanging signs, setting vitrines, and maintaining merchandising standards.Partner with the Operations team to ensure all SKUs are represented on the selling floor.Communicate needs effectively and promptly to allow resources to be planned.Store
Attend store walks with Visual leadership to align on direction and implement changes based on the needs of the business.Support setting up new window and in-store displays such as shelf backers, hanging elements, vinyl, props and mannequin styling.Take a hands-on approach to implementing visual and creative displays with all in-store presentations.Ensure all visual moments are clean and tidy so that guests may enjoy the full visual experience. Communicate facilities needs should they arise.Analyze all store visual displays to ensure that the products and their presentations are driving revenue, a great guest experience, and share and implement insights for improvement with the Visual Team.Take direction from the Visual Leads and Visual Manager to set products based on the planogram.Partner with the Operations team based on this directive and communicate improvisations when needed.What You Have
1-3 years' experience in a Visual or Merchandising role within a fast-paced premium retail or experience-based environment.Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, and bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal ability.Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Flexible availability in line with a Flagship Retail environment across early mornings, evenings, weekends, and overnights as needed.Experience with graphic design or production a plus.
