Property Condition Evaluator

FAR Inspections is seeking a Property Condition Evaluator to join our team. As an evaluator, you will be responsible for assessing the condition of residential properties, utilizing a mobile application to report on property conditions.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong attention to detail. Experience with mortgage field inspections is not required, but an ability to work efficiently and effectively is essential.

As a Property Condition Evaluator, your primary responsibility will be to conduct exterior-only inspections of properties, utilizing a mobile application to report on property conditions. Most inspections should only take 5-6 minutes to complete, and you will be required to complete them within 4 days of assignment.

You will need a computer with an internet connection, as well as a smartphone (Android or iPhone). Each inspection has a flat rate, and although you are paid per inspection, you can earn the equivalent of $20-$30 per hour, depending on the county and type of inspection.

We contract with inspectors at a county level, which means you will be responsible for completing all inspections within your designated area. In some cases, you may split the county with another inspector if there is sufficient volume. The workload can vary, with most counties requiring anywhere from 20-500 inspections per month, working 2-30 hours per week.
