Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, including recruitment, employee orientation, and maintaining employee records. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure the smooth operation of HR processes.
Duties
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating campus recruitment initiatives.
- Conduct employee orientation sessions to ensure new hires are effectively onboarded into the company culture.
- Maintain and update employee records in HR systems such as Paychecks and Sharepoint.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Utilize Sharepoint for tracking candidate interactions and managing recruitment pipelines.
- Assist in the development of HR policies and procedures to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Support payroll processing , ensuring accurate timekeeping and compliance with labor laws.
- Conduct research on best practices in human resources management to implement innovative solutions.
- Provide support for employee relations issues, ensuring a positive work environment through effective communication.
Skills
- Proficiency in HR software such as ADP, Paychecks, is preferred.
- Strong interviewing skills with a focus on identifying top talent through effective questioning techniques.
- Experience in campus recruitment strategies to attract early-career professionals.
- Ability to conduct cold calling for outreach to potential candidates or partners.
- Excellent research skills to stay updated on HR trends and best practices.
- Strong sales acumen to promote the organization’s values and culture during recruitment efforts.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with employees at all levels of the organization.
