Your Role:
As the Sr./Staff SDET of AD Simulation, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to develop a state-of-the-art simulation platform for testing ADAS/AD features with various challenges. Basically, you’ll ensure that innovation of FF’ s Autonomous Driving Vehicle behaves as reliable, efficient, safe and enjoyable especially under corner cases of live world:
- Work on a state-of-the-art simulation platform for the test of ADAS/AD features
- Design/maintain vast number of high fidelity scenarios that are scalable, real-life like, challenging and creative
- Integrate simulation system with various closed-loop test environment such as SIL, HIL and VIL
- Develop Virtual Environment, Vehicle Dynamics model, sensor behavior model under complex or rare scenarios
- Integrate AD stack into virtual simulation environment
- Scaled test simulation over clustered computing nodes
- Collaborate with other development and test teams to ensure production quality of AD system
Basic Qualifications:
- BS or MS or PhD in Computer Science or a similar discipline
- 2 years of experience in automotive/AD simulation industry
- Proven knowledge expertise, and passion for Autonomous Driving and Simulation
- Top-notch C/C /C#/Python skills
- Industry experience in creating simulation/scenarios (virtual environment) for ADAS/AD, report generation and testing
- Strong familiarity with popular game engines of car racing, and automotive simulators
- Rich experience with Vehicle Dynamics Modeling and ROS/ROS2
- Ability to write technical documentation
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and team-working tendencies
Preferred Qualifications:
- Efficient use of Linux scripting and automation capabilities
- Experience with 3D modeling and sensor modeling
- Experience with CAN networks and tools (e.g., CANoe, CAPL, PCAN)
- Familiarity with Automotive industry regulations and functional safety standards (ISO 26262)
- Familiarity with Rest API, Cloud service and working with docker image
- Rich experience with popular commercial or open source simulation tools
- Automotive industry risk and failure assessment capabilities
- A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision
- A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting
