Responsibilities

The Organizational Development Specialist will perform tasks including, but not limited to, the following:
- Oversee employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives
- Design, conduct, and analyze surveys to drive People & Talent First initiatives, plus use other methods of data collection where appropriate
- Create customized action plans for leaders based on survey data
- Design and facilitate leadership training as needed to create effective teams, leaders, and cultures within Farbest Foods, Farbest Farms, and JFS Milling
- Serve as Predictive Index Behavioral Assessment expert and champion
- Support the systems for internal and external company communication
- Represent Farbest at various career fairs and coordinate participation in community events
- Conduct exit interviews and capture data at various points in the employee life cycle
- Participation as needed in UFCW Union contract negotiations
- Conduct job analyses to ensure accurate job descriptions
- Conduct needs analyses to determine relevant leadership development and training
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
- The ideal candidate would possess the following prior to hire:
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in IBM SPSS program or similar software for data analytics
- Proficiency in statistics and model building using analyses like multiple linear regression
- Knowledge of Survey Monkey or similar software for hosting surveys
- Ample experience using Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft 365
- Ability to travel to all locations of Farbest Foods, Farbest Farms, and JFS Milling Operations
Education and/or Experience: Master’s degree in industrial-Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field required.
Position Summary: Adopting a scientific approach to studying the workplace, use data to drive employee engagement and make recommendations to the status quo to improve the employe experience for 1,400 employees across Farbest Foods, Farbest Farms, and JFS Milling. This role reports to the Director of Corporate Human Resources and is based out of the Farbest Corporate Office in Jasper, IN.
