About the Role
FareHarbor is seeking a writer and content manager to join our Tech Writers within our Product Comms team. You will be responsible for taking ownership over a library of documentation and resources for users to get answers to their questions. This position requires someone who is excited about learning and understanding complex subjects and then communicating them in simple and digestible ways.
You will collaborate with Product Managers, Product Marketing Managers and trainers to make sure that our documentation is accurate and clear for our company and clients.

What you'll do here:
- Develop comprehensive product documentation that aligns with our customers' needs and meets organizational standards.
- Gain a deep understanding of FareHarbor's products and services, translating complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content that empowers our users.
- Write user-friendly content that speaks directly to our target audience, turning insights into language that drives user success.
- Evaluate current content and embrace innovative methods to enhance our customers' experience further.
- Ensure our library of existing documentation remains up-to-date and consistently matches our customer-centric tone and formatting.
- Think big-picture about the best ways to communicate and assist our users, considering factors like document organization and incorporating various media.
Requirements:
- 5 years experience as a Technical Writer, creating product documentation, help tutorials or user guides, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into clear and concise language.
- Familiarity with software development and technical concepts, enabling you to grasp complex information quickly.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Wordpress, Zendesk Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality and error-free documentation.
- Experience in long-form content creation, preferably within the B2B (SaaS) industry.
- Fluent in English.

Salary Range: $65,333-$72,557, plus 10% bonus potential
