Responsibilities

- Conduct market research to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Analyze compensation data and prepare reports for management review.
- Collaborate with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide guidance on legal drafting related to compensation agreements.
- Oversee the administration of employee compensation records, ensuring accuracy in data entry and file management.
- Review and proofread compensation-related documents for clarity and compliance.
- Maintain effective phone etiquette while communicating with employees regarding compensation inquiries.
- Assist in the development of training materials related to compensation policies for HR staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a compensation management role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of tribal law regulations as they pertain to employee compensation.
- Proficiency in PCLaw or similar legal software is preferred.
- Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail in written communications.
- Experience in administrative tasks including data entry and file management.
- Strong writing skills for drafting clear and concise documentation related to compensation policies.
- Exceptional phone etiquette for professional communication with employees and stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
