Lyfe Law is a mid-size law firm looking to hire a full- time Workers Compensation Case Manager who has Workers Compensation experience, is competent, reliable, and a self-starter with a "can-do" attitude to join our team. The qualified candidate MUST have familiarity with all aspects of Workers' Compensation procedures such as: Filing for PQME Panels, Scheduling AME & PQME exams, Drafting Petitions, Advocacy Letters, MPN Search, setting doctors’ appointments, giving client's status updates. The Case Assistant will process the file from the beginning of the case through settlement.
Job Summary:
A Workers Compensation Case Manager will provide clerical services and other supportive measures for the firm. The Case Manager must be able to juggle many tasks at once, have excellent communication skills, practice good judgement, and keep files confidential.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
· None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Assisting Legal Assistant with setting up doctors’ appointments, filing applications, drafting representation letters, calling doctors’ offices to obtain reports.
· Review case notes and interview clients and provide updates on case status.
- Collect all possible information, evidence and documentation that will help the legal department build a case.
- Contract all parties in the case; request medical records, and bills on behalf of clients.
· Creating and sending out notices and creating medical lists.
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
· AA or BA in related field preferred.
· At least 2 years of workers compensation experience
· Familiarity with Filevine Software a plus.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $33.65 - $38.46 per hour
