Objective:

           Faris Machinery is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented college student graduating in May 2025 with a degree in Business/Finance or Accounting to join our team as a Summer Intern. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and growing company, with the potential to transition into a full-time position upon successful completion of the internship and graduation. This internship will provide a well-rounded experience in various aspects of our business, offering exposure to accounting, finance, administration, and human resources. You will play a vital role in supporting our daily operations and contributing to key initiatives.

Essential Information:

·     Location: Branch 1 - 5770 E 77^th Ave Commerce City, CO 80022

·     Duration: 10 Week Program

·     Wage: $ 17.00 Per Hour (Paid Weekly & 40 Hours per week)

·     Hours: 8am to 5pm with an hour lunch

·     Housing: Will be provided by Faris Machinery Company Close to Office

Responsibilities:

• Finance & Accounting Support: Dive into the world of finance and accounting by assisting our Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) team. You'll be handling daily tasks like data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation, gaining valuable experience in the financial operations of a 72-year-old successful business.
• Customer Service: Be the hero our customers need! Support our service adviser by providing timely updates to customers as needed. Your excellent communication skills will shine here.
• Human Resources Support: Join our exciting evolution journey by helping our HR and Service Managers recruit 10 new technicians. You'll get hands-on experience reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and even participating in the interview process for both field and shop positions at our Denver and Colorado Springs branches.

Qualifications:

• Expected graduation in May 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• A proactive and positive attitude.
• Interest in the equipment or construction industry is a plus.

Projected Daily Work Schedule:

·     8:00 am to 12:00 pm – Accounting Duties

o  Accounting Clerical Work

·     12:00 pm to 1:00 pm – Lunch

·     1:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Accounting Duties

·     4:00 pm to 5:00 pm – Service Outreach

o  Make outgoing calls to Customers to generate business
