What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Intern position at Lockton Companies Social Sourcing?
RESPONSIBILITIES
Internships begin in the first part of June and are temporary, full-time positions, and will last 8 weeks. After a brief orientation, Interns will shadow a designated Lockton associate in several client service areas for a period of time, which provides an opportunity to experience various specialties within our insurance brokerage organization. Typical duties are:
• Preparing spreadsheets
• Researching a prospect or current client online
• Financial analysis
• Checking carrier rating worksheets
• Processing policy endorsements/riders
• Attending meetings and taking meeting notes
• Assisting with report writing and presentation design
• Attending educational training and orientation sessions
