What You'll Do : As a Senior Accountant you will maintain the general ledger and prepare financial reports for assigned companies and County Farm Bureaus. Expected to provide financial analysis and serve as a valuable resource for Regional Managers and County Farm Bureau Boards. This role provides training to County Farm Bureau Office Assistants in the use of our accounting application. Tasked with the review of payroll disbursements and preparation of tax returns. You will research new payroll, sales tax, not-for-profit and general tax issues.
What It Takes to Join Our Team :
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
- Minimum of six years of accounting experience.
- Experience with financial reporting, general ledger management, payroll, and income tax reporting and compliance.
- Must maintain current knowledge of tax and accounting requirements, legislation, and regulations.
- Use of Microsoft Office, payroll, fixed asset, and tax software experience.
- Minimal travel is required.
- Excellent communication skills.
