BASIC FUNCTION
The Sales Solutions Support Specialist assists consumers through the application process by collecting additional information and/or helping them to complete the required application forms. This position interfaces with various internal departments and communicates all requirements and status to the applicant via inbound or outbound calls and email.
REPORTS TO
Sales Support Team Lead and Regional Sales Support Manager
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Sales Solutions Support Specialist is responsible for entering new applicant information into the Customer Relationship Management system (CRM) and notifies applicants of missing or additional information needed to complete the application process.
- Know the details of all plans and guidelines offered by FBHP and partnering stateplans.
- Articulate and communicate well over the phone.
- Have a team mentality by working well, being punctual and being respectful toco- workers and Leadership.
- Understanding and learning the functions of how to use the computer programs: Salesforce, Outlook, FileNet, CSP, Company Websites, Membership websites, Facets, Confluence, Cisco, WebEx.
- Pass the State Health License Exam.
- Maintain State Health License along with Continuing Education requirements.
- Work overtime if needed during busy season.
- Learn the basics of how each department within FBHP works.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year Call Center Customer Experience is preferred but not required.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: A successful candidate for the Sales Solutions Support Specialist position will possess the following skills and/or competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to explain complex health insurance information in simple, easy to understand terms.
- Accountability – Demonstrates a consistent level of performance; strives to maintain a steady level of productivity; meets deadlines in daily responsibilities. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly and think critically.
- Basic knowledge of health insurance industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership – Demonstrates ability to express self in all areas of communications, conveys ideas, concepts, and facts in a logical, understandable, and concise manner. Demonstrates the ability to establish productive, friendly, and professional relationships with peers and others.

Pay: $15.44 - $18.26 per hour
