Job Summary
Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
  • Read and analyze incoming emails, memos, submissions, and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
  • Prepare responses to correspondence as assigned by the Vice President.
  • Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
  • File and maintain records.
  • Perform administrative support tasks, such as proofreading, drafting documents/messages, and transcribing handwritten information.
  • Transmit information or documents to agents and customers, using a computer, mail, or facsimile machine.
  • Provide information about establishment, such as the location of offices, and services provided.
  • Keep a current record of staff members' whereabouts and availability.
  • Manage Vice Presidents schedule and make travel arrangements as needed.
  • Prepare agendas and make arrangements, such as coordinating catering for luncheons, for a committee, board, and other meetings.
  • Assist in scheduling space or equipment for special programs and prepare lists of participants.
  • Prepare reports and create presentations as needed.
  • Meet deadlines for tasks and assignments.
  • Handle small to medium projects as assigned.
  • Support the Vice President in meeting multiple deadlines as needed.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as directed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience: 1 to 2 years’ experience in an administrative role preferred.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift
