The Senior Salesforce Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that align with business and enterprise strategies. This role requires strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, best practices, and governance. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage directly with stakeholders, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a customer-facing, consultative environment and can work effectively across multiple technology stacks.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, test, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows .
Optimize code for Salesforce governor limits and best practices .
Collaborate with architects and developers to align solutions with enterprise strategy.
Conduct code reviews, enforce development best practices, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Act as a technical lead on smaller projects and a key contributor to larger initiatives.
Document development work and maintain clear technical documentation.
Work in a DevOps / CI-CD environment to improve deployment pipelines.
Stay current with Salesforce innovations and proactively suggest improvements.
Additional Responsibilities :
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and timelines .
Contribute to process improvements, automation, and platform governance .
Occasionally work outside standard hours for critical deployments or production support.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5 years of experience in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, LWC, and API integrations .
Salesforce certification required (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer I or II; additional certifications preferred).
Strong knowledge of Salesforce governor limits, security best practices, and optimization techniques .
Experience with unit testing, automated testing, and Agile methodologies .
Familiarity with DevOps practices, especially Copado
Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
