SCHEDULE: Full Time, Hybrid
TRAVEL REQUIRED: 25% - 50%
COMPENSATION: $78,522.00 to $150,980.00 base salary plus potential for variable compensation. Base pay is determined by your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Farm Credit Mid-America/Rural 1st may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
About Our Opportunity
The Customer Education Manager sets the education strategy for the Farm Credit Mid-America and Rural 1st brands. This position provides operational support, facilitates educational programming and outreach, and collaborates with retail and cross-functional teams to obtain pertinent feedback and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
How You Will Spend Your Time
- Works to develop, design, coordinate and deliver highly effective in-person and virtual learning opportunities to create value for customers and engage with the various marketplaces.
- Develops and maintains a learning library; seeks development, promotion, and maintenance of online educational tools.
- Manages third party relationships and budgets in order to provide in-person and virtual learning opportunities for customers.
- Coordinates and collaborates with Retail, Brand Experience, and other internal teams to solicit ongoing feedback and identify customer development needs to create best in class customer education content delivery (i.e. program content, promotional materials, thought leadership, etc.) targeted at meeting identified needs.
- Partners with the Brand Experience teams to maintain consistency and integrity of the portfolios, programs and products.
- Serves as the primary customer contact for the online educational programming, when available; seeks to create effective communication prior to and after educational programming.
- Monitors and tracks participant progress of educational programming.
- Works closely with Growing Forward, Emerging Markets, and team members to identify needs and opportunities, ultimately connecting the dots with existing and new partners to meet those needs.
- Remains active/visible in local/regional farmer organizations promoting relevant programs through external education and building a network of influencers.
- Strategically selects appropriate industry leaders and public speakers to facilitate during events or partner with for educational programming.
- Executes monthly reporting that highlights and tracks current, future and completed initiatives.
- Completes quarterly board reports for designated areas of focus.
- Works with the Growing Forward Manager to ensure all program requirements are met and the Growing Forward program remains acceptable.
Minimum Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in agriculture, business, education, or related degree. 4 years successful experience in similar position or field.
