Job Summary
We are seeking a Strategic Planning Manager who will be an engaging strategist, dot connector, and thought leader, helping to drive strategic planning across the organization.
You will be asked to design and facilitate annual business unit strategic planning efforts in partnership with Senior Leaders, supporting the VP, Strategy & Customer Insights in strategic planning efforts with the Executive Leadership Team and Boards of Directors. In addition, you will be responsible for leading the annual development of the organization’s strategic business plan and coordinating the development of supporting plans. Throughout this work, you will work with teammates and cross-functional partners to bring meaningful insights into the planning process and to ensure actionable outcomes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates and facilitates Strategic Planning with each business area, ensuring meaningful inputs and outputs and strong cross-functional partnership.
- Supports execution of planning outcomes and drives accountability among owners.
- Serves as a common partner to identify and help activate meaningful themes and common opportunities across business areas.
- Leads annual development of the organization’s Strategic Business Plan and supports development and coordination of the organization’s supporting plans.
- Serves as a general strategy consultant to areas across the Associations, providing guidance founded in strong business acumen and experience. Designs and facilitates ad-hoc meetings of strategic importance as needed.
