Position Description:
We’re looking for a AgDirect Territory Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the external sales efforts needed for marketplace development of the AgDirect program by farm equipment/machinery and irrigation dealers and manufacturers as well as customers, marketplace office staff and AgDirect LLP Association partners.
In addition, you’ll provide support to Farm Credit Services of America (FCSAmerica) partners, marketplace office staff, Agri-Business officers and influencers such as dealer association staff and industry representatives regarding AgDirect products and marketing efforts.
You're perfect for this role if you are comfortable working with executive leaders, regional leaders, CEO and able to build deep relationships quickly with customers, flip cards and shake lots of hands. The best candidates have salesmanship and sales energy, are great public speakers, very adaptable and understands the diverse territories (cotton, beans, corn, wheat, tomatoes, berries, nuts, hemp) that we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for market development and growth of the Association Partner's AgDirect loan and leasing products with agricultural equipment & irrigation dealers, manufacturers, customers and marketplace office staff.
- Facilitate the sales process by providing financing options and sales expertise directly to end-customers (farmers/ranchers) in cooperation with dealership/manufacturer sales team, including coordination of the closing between dealer/manufacturer, customer and marketplace office staff.
- Responsible for obtaining additional information when needed on pending applications, scanning the information and forwarding communication to the appropriate teams.
- Responsible for coaching and counseling dealers and marketplace office staff on AgDirect credit decisions, process, compliance and territorial concurrence guidelines.
- Initiate and execute financing agreements with AgDirect dealers and prospects.
- Accountable for servicing and cross-selling AgDirect dealers in assigned territory.
- Coordinate with lending officers and Agri-Business officers to identify potential AgDirect customers. Provide officers with current AgDirect information and provide training on programs' processes and procedures, as necessary.
Minimum Requirements
- 4-6 years agriculture lending or related experience in regional sales and territory management within the AgDirect, agricultural, or equipment leasing industry required.
- Proficient in AgDirect on-line system and related tools and ability to train dealers to utilize on-line system.
- Understanding of agricultural production from education or experience.
- Demonstrated competence in marketing, territory management, decision-making and problem solving.
- Must possess advanced sales skills and proven results.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, or Finance required. or related practical experience

Salary : $85,610 - $161,880
