Member Loan Operations Intern

Description/Job Summary

As the Member Loan Operations Intern, you'll have opportunities to learn about agriculture financing in central/southern Illinois, gain valuable hands-on experience, gain exposure to project work, collaborate throughout the Association as part of the Member Loan Operations Department working with the Loan Accounting Operations and Credit Operations Teams to serve our farmer-members.

Responsibilities/Duties

Specific responsibilities include:

• Completing required forms for servicing transactions - ie - Full Release of Mortgage Documents, Change in Payments, Short Term Operating Extensions, etc.
• Data Input and Clean Up related to member and loan information
• Report analysis, breakdown, and consumption
  • Location of source of data in system, verify usability of format, etc.
• Project support
  • Testing
  • Assisting with Task Deadlines
• Impact Documents
• Microsoft Smartsheet development for current processes for improved efficiency
• Business process guide format improvements and documentation support
• Participation in team meetings
• Appropriately protects the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients data

Required Qualifications

• Strong writing and communication skills
• High level of accuracy and thoroughness
• Strong ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
• Skill in gathering, compiling, and organizing information
• A familiarity with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point. Advanced Excel knowledge is a plus.

In addition, candidates for an internship position must be enrolled as college students during the Spring of 2025.
