Service Writer
The Service Writer is the one accountable for the future, well-being and integrity of the interactions with our service department staff and customers. Including the coordination and communication with other departments.
Accountability – Having the last say and giving up the right not to listen.
Accountable for:
- Quality Customer Service – measured by what we promised by what we delivered and on-time.
- Sufficient communication and follow-up with Customers and staff to deliver on our promises. – measured by customer complaints and “Come-backs”.
- The Integrity of the shop calendar, work-orders, and Service Writer processes – measured by Technician Efficiency numbers and Warranty Processing measurements.
Responsible for:
Customer service - All staff is being our Farm Equipment USA Charter leaving each and every customer with a quality experience especially when things do not go as planned. Being in communication in the departments agreed upon time limits, following procedures as they are designed and if needed recommend an improvement to the Service Manager of any process or system that may not be working to the level required for our customer’s satisfaction and what we have given our word to.
- Greeting customers, listening to their concerns and needs and ensuring that is all captured on the work order.
- Giving each customer a By When promise of their work-order completion or a promise to promise.
- Answering and responding to walk-in customers, phone Calls, emails and texts and delegating these calls to appropriate person, ensuring customer is satisfied. Workorders-opening, closing, and billing
- Contacts customers when their unit is ready for pick-up or delivery.
- Coordinates with the Parts Department and Technicians to gather and/or order parts needed for Work Orders.
- Warranty work order completion and submission.
- Partner to the Service Manager executing tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
