What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Coordinator-Recruiting and Retention position at Farm Fresh Turkey Products?
Perform a variety of administrative duties in support of Human Resources department responsibilities and objectives focusing on recruitment and retention.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Maintain application records and files and correspond with interviewed applicants as necessary.
Maintain applicant flow data.
2. Post open jobs internally and track internal position bids. Coordinate internal candidate interviews with hiring manager as appropriate.
3. Post-employment ads, including print and online ads and the company website.
4. Attend job fairs
5. Assist in hiring process by conducting hourly interviews, plant tours, and orientation (Day one checklist, bump caps, boot forms etc) as requested.
6. Coordinate interviews with department leaders
7. Maintain badge system
8. Entering new hires into HRIS system
9. Manage onboarding new hires including offer letters & reference checks
10. Manage hourly review system; act as a liaison between HR & production to ensure timely completion
of all reviews.
11. Complete retention questionnaires and analyze data
12. Conduct Exit Interviews
13. Prepare and distribute new hire announcements
14. Maintain
15. Assist with planning, coordinating and implementation of employee events such as company picnic,
service awards and employee appreciation functions, etc.
16. Maintain disciplinary spreadsheet
17. Prepare a variety of reports, as requested.
18. Assist with attendance & call offline as needed
19. Create and maintain SOP’s for all related job duties.
20. Perform other related responsibilities, as needed, to support business objectives.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
➢ High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
➢ 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and
experience related to recruitment & retention
➢ Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively communicate
with external and internal customers.
➢ Strong Word and Excel skills
➢ Excellent attention to detail.
➢ Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
➢ Bi-Lingual (Spanish) required.
