Your Role:

-Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels of grocery products, including dry goods, canned goods, and non-perishable items. Monitor stock levels, track sales trends, and adjust ordering as needed to ensure adequate supply and minimize waste. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any issues or discrepancies.

-Merchandising: Design attractive displays that showcase our grocery products and drive sales. Utilize creative merchandising techniques to highlight featured items, promote specials, and create a visually appealing shopping experience. Ensure that shelves are well-stocked, neatly organized, and properly labeled to facilitate easy shopping for our customers.

-Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of grocery department associates, providing guidance, training, and support to help them succeed in their roles and deliver outstanding service and quality to our customers. Schedule staff effectively to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and manage labor costs within budgetary guidelines.

-Customer Service: Provide friendly and attentive service to customers, answering questions, offering recommendations, and assisting with special requests. Help customers locate items, provide information about pricing and promotions, and ensure that their shopping experience is positive and enjoyable. Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.

-Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in the grocery department, including cleaning and organizing shelves, displays, storage areas, and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our products and comply with regulatory requirements.

-Budget and Performance Management: Monitor department performance against sales targets and budget goals, and take corrective action as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Implement strategies to drive sales, reduce costs, and improve profitability while maintaining high standards of quality and service.

Qualifications:

-You're a natural leader with a proven track record of leading and developing teams in a retail or grocery setting. You're able to inspire and motivate your team to achieve their goals and deliver outstanding service and quality to our customers.

-You're highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. You're able to plan and coordinate the activities of your team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the grocery department.

-You're customer-oriented and committed to providing exceptional service that exceeds our customers' expectations. You're friendly, approachable, and able to build rapport with customers to create positive shopping experiences.

-You have a passion for food and a strong knowledge of different grocery products, brands, and suppliers. You're able to provide guidance and recommendations to customers and team members based on your expertise.

-Grocery and management experience is a MUST.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
