What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver Wanted - Class E MO License or Standard KS License position at Farm to Market Bread Co.?

The delivery driver will move goods and other merchandise from one location to another.
What you'll do
- Plan and complete an efficient delivery route for the day
- Load delivery vehicle with wholesale orders scheduled for delivery
- Deliver orders to correct addresses, rotate and stock product, and obtain signatures and proof of receipt when necessary
- Maintain a professional and friendly attitude toward customers at all times
- Communicate delays, order issues, customer issues, etc. to the sales and management team in a timely manner using Slack
- Occasionally pick up items along the scheduled route, including product to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested
- Ensure that delivery vehicle receives basic service needs by maintaining reports as well as reporting bigger service issues to the driver manager immediately
- Unload delivery vehicle when done for the day
- Perform general warehouse duties
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive safely at all times and in various types of weather
- Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps
- Ability to plan delivery routes
- Ability to maintain basic logs and records
- Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision
- Able to remain professional and courteous at all times
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to consistently move in a full range of motion
- Ability to load and unload packages with and without dollies in various types of weather
